What does the code on your hot tub panel mean?
Type the letters or numbers on the display. You get what the controller is telling you, whether it is safe to get in, and the free checks to do before anyone books a service call.
Who made the controller?
Not sure? Look at the label on the back of the topside panel or inside the equipment door. A Balboa pack reads BP plus a number, or VS300, VS500, VS700. A Gecko pack reads in.xe, in.yj, in.ye or in.yt. On an inflatable tub, the brand is on the pump unit and the model number is on the box or pump housing.
Common codes
Where this comes from: the troubleshooting guides published by Balboa Water Group and Gecko Alliance, Intex PureSpa owner's manuals and Intex support, and Bestway's spa FAQ, as summarized in our hot tub error code guide and inflatable spa code guide. Codes and thresholds can change between model years, so your own manual wins if it says something different.
